RUNNING A RED LIGHT

Running a Red Light is a citation that does not rely on mechanical evidence. It is based on the law enforcement officer's credibility and the officer's testimony is usually the only available evidence against you.

Florida legislature recently passed a law allowing governmental units to cite individuals for "red light running". This law is supplemental to Florida Statute 316.075 and relies on video evidence.
